120 Sq. Ft. Hills /> on December 5, 2014
This 10′ x 12′ Studio Shed is used as a backyard office by a father who now telecommutes to work (works his job from home).
So he set out to design and build his own office in his own backyard with the help of the people at Studio Shed.
The design you are looking at is the 10×12 Lifestyle Model. It has a corrugated steel roof, metal siding, windows, french doors, and a completely finished interior.
The structure is 200 feet away from his off grid home with its solar and wind power systems. Plus there’s a generator on site for backup. All of this easily powers his new office. Pretty cool, right?
Please enjoy and re-share this awesome off grid office shed/cabin below. Thank you.

Very aesthetic and inspirational. My only qualm is getting to it on what looks like a goat path that looks like it would wash away? Is there another path, up where the person is standing? Very nice if there’s a way to come and go without breaking an ankle, especially for us night owls. Lovely view from all that glass.
Love love love the dogs. The building is OK too:)
I don’t think the photos here really do this one justice, but it seems like all you’d really need in an office. Love the deck…almost an “infinity deck” (ala the infinity pool concept) due to the use of the downward slope of the terrain.
Lovely place, would definitely blog from that office. 🙂
Sure takes the dread out of going to the office, and the pet co-workers are an added perk.
I wouldn’t even call it a “shed”. It is far too elegant and well appointed on the inside to qualify as a “shed”. I’d just call it a hillside office and leave it at that. Very nice. Wish there were better pictures and a couple of shots looking out over the valley view. I also think that company needs to change its name to Tiny Offices and forget the shed part.
It looks great however, I would add a bathroom, futone & sink with a microwave. By the way, love the dogs.
